Kara’s dream of starting her own medical spa came true in 2021 when Fresh Aesthetics Medical Spa opened its doors. Kara’s medical career began in 1993 when she became a certified nurse's assistant at her local nursing home in Crosby, North Dakota. She attended the University of North Dakota on a Nursing scholarship. Kara earned a Bachelor’s in Cardiopulmonary Science and became a Respiratory Therapist in 1998.
After working as an RT for several years, she continued following her passion for people, health, and wellness and obtained her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kara has now been a Board-Certified Physician Assistant since 2008.
Kara appreciates that she can now draw from her diverse background, experience, and medical training to offer her patients care that truly sees them as a whole person and factors in their overall health and wellness into the aspirations they have for their appearance. Appointments for Kara's services are now available at the Blaine location. She offers a warm, friendly, judgment-free zone where everyone deserves to look their best and feel amazingly confident! Kara specializes in a very natural, fresh approach to facial rejuvenation.
