Welcome
An Important Message Update From Val
My name is Valerie, and I am the proud owner of Kalon Salon. The name Kalon means “the ideal of physical and moral beauty,” and that meaning has been at the heart of the salon since the beginning.
For the past six years, Kalon has been fortunate to serve our clients from two locations — Blaine and Coon Rapids. As we begin a new chapter, Kalon Salon will be consolidating to our Blaine location, and our Coon Rapids location will close as Kalon on October 29th. Please continue to book as usual through October 26.
I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing clients, friends, and community who have supported our Coon Rapids salon over the years. I am so grateful for the memories we’ve made, the relationships we’ve built, and every person who has walked through our doors.
While Kalon is leaving Coon Rapids, the salon itself is not closing. The Coon Rapids location will reopen under new ownership as Tafoya Salon on November 1st, and Sydney will continue there as a stylist.
Kalon Salon will continue in Blaine, where we look forward to welcoming you and providing the relaxed, welcoming salon experience Kalon is known for.
Our other Coon Rapids stylists are beginning new chapters of their own as well. Please continue to book as usual through October 26. Here is where you can find everyone after 10/26:
